Tuan Gwo-Burne Loh [Kelana Jaya] minta MENTERI DALAM NEGERI menyatakan sama ada kesemua 138 kes yang dilaporkan kepada polis mengenai penipuan GMC Uama Sdn Bhd yang menjalankan perniagaan “Mat Kiosk” dan “Airku” ditutup oleh Jabatan Peguam Negara, sekiranya benar berikan sebab-sebabnya.

Untuk makluman Ahli-ahli Yang Berhormat dan Dewan Yang Mulia ini, bagi tempoh sehingga bulan September2009, pihak polis telah menerima sebanyak 53 laporan polis berhubung perniagaan Mat Kiosk dan Airku. Siasatan adalah dibuat di bawah Seksyen 420 Kanun Keseksaan atas kesalahan melakukan penipuan. Berikut merupakan pecahan laporan polis mengikut negeri:-
Selangor – 42 kes
Kuala Lumpur – 4 kes
Johor – 3 kes
Sabah – 3 kes
Pulau Pinang – 1 kes
Tuan Yang Dipertua,
Kesemua kes tersebut masih dalam siasatan pihak polis. Oleh yang demikian, dakwaan yang menyatakan bahawa kes-kes tersebut telah ditutup oleh peguam negara adalah tidak benar.

In the wake of the release of the report of the task force confirming allegations of sexual abuse of Penan women and girls, we – concerned citizens of this country – greet Malaysia’s 46th birthday with a renewed sense of outrage. We are gravely disturbed over not only the status of the Penan girls and women whose rights were violated, but also over how their situation reflects the overall state of the affairs of the Orang Asal: the Orang Asli of Peninsular Malaysia and the indigenous peoples of Sabah and Sarawak.
